Where: We meet in the Harlandale Masonic Lodge building at 6031 South Flores Street (at Huff Avenue), San Antonio, TX 78214.
What is Eastern Star? The Order of the Eastern Star (O.E.S.) is the largest fraternal organization in the world to which both men and women may belong. Only men who are Masons are eligible, and only women with specific Masonic affiliation may be members. These affiliations include:

- the wives
- daughters
- legally adopted daughters
- mothers
- widows
- sisters
- half sisters
- granddaughters
- stepmothers
- stepdaughters

And first and second female cousins of affiliated Master Masons in good standing, or if deceased in good standing at the time of their death; as well as members – either active for three (3) years or majority – in the International Order of the Rainbow of Girls or in Job’s Daughters International, each of whom have attained at least the age of eighteen (18) years, are eligible to membership in the Order of the Eastern Star.Mee

The Eastern Star group was founded in the US in the late 1800s. It is a fraternal organization open to both men and women. Members must believe in a supreme being, and the group is aligned with the Masonic Fraternity. It is sometimes referred to as the “female branch” of the Masonic circle. The organization’s mission is to promote leadership skills, charity, and community involvement among its members. The Eastern Star group also engages in philanthropic activities and supports a variety of charities.
